Photoside Cafe

This week, we get a real treat. a group called Photoside Cafe will be playing at our church for Koinonia Kafe. so come on out on wednesday. We have dinner at 5:30, and i'm thinking the concert will start at 6:00ish. They are pretty good folks... give them a listen at http://www.myspace.com/photosidecafe I am pretty excited. Afterwards, stick around, and we'll play some games as usual.

In case you haven't heard, the 30 hour famine for this year has been postponed till at least May. many reasons, so just hang in there if you are super disappointed.

something you may want to start thinking about: Amazing Race. start getting your teams together, and start strategizing. There will be limited spots so watch your inboxes closely. We will be taking a non-returnable deposit this year. we had too many teams drop out last year and it hurt us. We'll let you know how much in the next few weeks.

Sunday afternoons have been really awesome lately. we are continuing to study the Sermon on the Mount and how it applies to living a holy life. it's really cool what we have been discussing. the group last week took the discussion in a completely different direction than i was going and it was actually a better direction. Come be a part of this.

Bracelets are ordered for the new IS IT HOLY? movement in our group. not sure when they will be here, but when they come, i'll let you know.

I would also like to start the 30 Hardest Days of Your Life study. I need to know NOW if you want to do it. This is not for the faint of heart. this is a big deal. it takes MAJOR commitment, and I don't want you to do it if you are not going to go through with it. Cost is $10 for the book (it's not a cheap book, but i don't want you guys to pay too much for it.) and we will begin on Ash Wednesday, which is next week. LET KNOW NOW, so i can get books ordered.

REFUGE was great this last week, as we began our study on what it means to live a holy life. Be hear this Sunday at 4:00 to continue to learn how to live a holy life.
